[Qgis-developer] gps toolbox (detect device on mac OSX 10.6.4)

Hi :-)

i'm tring to use my bluethout gps device with Qgis,  but it is no recognized 
(there is no way in Qgis  to manually add the path to device) ..

To fix i need to add manually "/dev/tty.GarminGPS10-Gps10" in : qgsgpsinformationwidgetbase.ui 

(i added my device in the .ui file using "add item" in the combo box widget)

The weirs is .. after build qgis with the changes in " qgsgpsinformationwidgetbase.ui " 
i have no new entry in the combobox, it is empty

but  just "select the first entry (position 1  in the combobox, where i added the item in the .ui file)
it is empty ... (no device visible) but i'm able to connect to the device.

Is inside qgis a place where i can "statically" set the path to my gps device ?

Like a dialog to set manually the device address ?
(instead or in addition to choose it from the combobox, beacouse autodetect device doesn't works as aspected)
