[Qgis-developer] Export MAPINFO: field DATE,DATETIME, ...

As far as I know this is a limitation of the MapInfo ogr driver that QGIS
uses http://www.gdal.org/ogr/drv_mitab.html
Mainly this section:
Only Integer, Real and String field types can be created. The various list,
> and binary field types cannot be created.
I'm sure it could be patched to support datetime, just need to find someone
willing to do it.
