I still have problems to extract layer parameters to metadata XML for shp though:
Operation can't be completed:
`/home/paolo/Desktop/Documenti/Didattica/home/comuni.shp|layerid=0' does not exist in
the file system,
and is not recognised as a supported dataset name.
