Hi Sara,

please tell a little more about your project: are you talking about c++,
and  then about qgis itself, or a qgis-derived program? Or are you
talking about a python (plugin)?
Or about a qgis-user-usecase (in that case please sent you question to
the users list: qgis-user at lists.osgeo.org?
