Thanks for the reply,  Tim.  As soon as I hear back from the FOSS4G organizers on the attendee list, I'll be in touch with folks.  In the mean time, if you did sign up to attend that workshop last fall and are interesting in attending the GeoNetwork OpenSource workshop, please drop me an email directly.  I'll add you to the list and be in contact with you once I start getting a few dates schedule (likely sometime in mid-May).
