[Qgis-developer] Bringing diagrams into labeling-ng

In case the labels are stored in the project file - would there be a
convenient option to export/import the labels to use them in other
projects as well?
Would the labels be stored in the project coordinate system or in some
paper coordinate system? I'd prefer the former.
