Hi all

Tim, i use git thru cntlm proxy and to get git working i must do

export http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:3128
git clone http://github.com/qgis/Quantum-GIS.git

the "git://" do not traverse the proxy...

export http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:3128
git clone git://github.com/qgis/Quantum-GIS.git

Please put some row about this to help other users, into:

https://github.com/qgis/Quantum-GIS/blob/master/INSTALL

git section...
