[Qgis-developer] help QgsVectorLayer labels

i developpe an aplication using PyQgis in ubuntu 
I try to find how setting QgsVectorlayer from QgsDataSourceURI and getting
map and labels from Postgis database.
map is loaded but i dont find how loading labels and show them.
