[Qgis-developer] qGis detects proxy settings from ie

Hi everybody,
this is the first time that I write to qgis-dev ML,
I need suggestion about the proxy settings in QGIS,
I'm trying to modify the code so that QGIS, on Windows XP,
is able to detect the proxy settings from Internet Explorer likeOSGeo4W
installer

This would be very useful for example,
when the username and password authentication through Active Directory
and the ones of the proxy connection credentials are the same.
Then so far, when the users periodically update their password,
have to update manually the settings of the proxy in qGis as well.
So users phone to me 'cause WMS or plugin manager not working,
but they just forget to update their proxy settings.

The manually proxy settings update isn't required for Internet Explorer or
Firefox
