[Qgis-developer] Branched for release 1.8

Hi All

I have created a new branch for the upcoming version 1.8.0 release:


git fetch
git branch --track release-1_8

Please add a tag  [BP18] to all your commits that can be applied to
the branch (i.e. that don't break API). I will post a release schedule
after the hackfest, but first we will release 1.7.2.
