[Qgis-developer] "Apply" to be avoided

Hi all.
In several dialogs (e.g. Vector and raster properties>Classification, 
Diagrams, etc.) changes are not updated automatically, but the user has 
to click the Classify button. This is (unnecessarily?) cumbersome, and 
it seems better to avoid it. Any thoughts? Should I open a ticket?
