[Qgis-developer] missing python bindings for new functions in qgsrasterdataprovider

Hi,

I am trying to update a plugin (valuetool) to the new api, and there
are a number of functions missing from the bindings (related to stats,
histograms and pyramids, among others) because they were moved from
qgsrasterlayer.

I was wondering what should be the appropriate strategy, fix them as
we go along or wait some time that things are settled?

Are there other drastic changes planned for raster layer / provider?
