[Qgis-developer] $area in deg?

we've  added  calculation  of  ellipsoidal areas as
well as projected ones (using project CRS) to fTools recently.

Along the same lines ultimately, it would be nice if operators from geometry group ($area,
$perimeter...etc)   are accompanied with $area_ellps,  $area_prj,
$perimeter_ellps, $x_prj...etc.
