[Qgis-developer] non contiguous cartograms

Hi Mathieu,

Me personally, I don't find non-contiguous cartograms especially useful or
easy to interpret.
You can create the contiguous kind using cartogram plugin.

Another approach I've played with recently, is to use a simple regular grid
and "fill" the cells according to an attribute value.
