+1 from me, it's useless information to the user and only makes it
confusing.

 So I would be in favour of showing the Authority ID instead of the SRID


I thought they were the same thing, if not then what ever has the most
meaning should be shown.

I think it would be better to stop that event, so the user is not changing

+1 The action should be Double click to zoom, F2 to rename.

+1 Should be pretty easy to whack a filter model in there.
