there are a number of known issues about rasters, none of them was a
regression and so it was not possible to tag them as blockers. Recently
things got better after a few changes introduced by Alexander. In the
next dev release there will be the merging the resampling code (by
Marco) and a few more fixes by Radim, and so we will need to re-evaluate
the situation.
