Hi!

You are right .. I tried it last time but appearently missed to fully
switch the language and was satisfied with the written full country.
So there must be something else going on with selecting the language.
It only appears when you are using Qt4.8 because this version is able
to do the abbrev.->Countryname conversion by itself ..
Seems that we have to do it in another way because from my side
written names are much more convenient than abbrevations.

If there will be no fast solution I think we should disable the
conversion for the 1.8 release..
