[Qgis-developer] error loading a shp

Hi Again,

A co-worker here works with QGIS 1.8 under Ubuntu 11.10 and I found out she
doesn't have this problem, whereas my Ubuntu 12.04 keeps having it. Does
that ring a bell to anyone?
