Hi,

> Why not using DB Manager?

to be used to import large amount of data, DB manager still lacks the
option to use > 1 shape as input and a progress bar (and a "cancel"
button). Also it seems much slower to import shapes into postgis/sl
than other tools, like spit/postgis manager or the cli tools.
