[Qgis-developer] Raster render multiband gray

Hi all, 
I couldn't find a way to style raster with multiband gray levels (R+G+B). It
is currently only possible with one band at a time. Red or  blue or green..
Did I miss something? 

It would be really is usefull for topographic maps and aerial photo, when
needing not to interfer with overlaying colored layers. 

Should I file a feature request?
