[Qgis-developer] QgsNetworkAccessManager::instance()->get() freezes in Python

QNetworkRequest sent with QgsNetworkAccessManager::instance()->get()
never finishes if it is run in Python. Everything works without
problems in QGIS (C++). I tested WMS and WCS providers in stand alone
Python script and from Python console in QGIS.

Any idea?
