[Qgis-developer] Why does the Simplify Feature tool have no normal input field for the tolerance?

Hi,

The Simplify Feature tool currently only allows the set the tolerance  
using a slider widget. It doesn't even display the tolerance value  
anywhere. If a users wants to take notes about the performed processing  
steps, he would have no chance with such an interface. I would therefore  
like to suggest adding an additional line input field where one can both  
read and change the tolerance settings.
