[Qgis-developer] invalid updates with field calculator?

I think that there is a problem with the field calculator in QGIS-dev 1.9.0
:
When you create a field with calculator (i.e. test, char(32)) and you apply
a formula like 'test',
Only  the 35 first rows are OK! Others = null!
With an integer field, 59 rows only?
That seems random... sometimes, it's OK
Tested with QGIS-dev Ubuntu 12.04 64b and W7 64b
No problem with QGIS 1.8!
How and where to post this kind of problem?
