[Qgis-developer] Labeling issues update

Hi,

In case anyone was wondering...

I have been absent from the community for the last two weeks, though I have
been trying to follow along. My wife and I just had son (our second kid),
who showed up a full month ahead of his due date.

I am now back to a somewhat regular schedule and can devote time to fixing
issues, mostly related to labeling.
