I realise this is late in the game, but I've got strong reservations
about how well #50 will work as an app icon. It's going to need
substantial changes to create a good icon from it. My main concerns
are:

1. The solid near-black color doesn't work well for an icon. If you
compare it against a selection of well-designed icons, the solid color
looks flat and lifeless:
http://imgur.com/5Xmd6TA (quick and nasty photoshop job, ignore the
artifacts). You can also see that having a solid dark color like this
doesn't work against a dark background. At the minimum it will need
some outline/shading/shadow/highlighting effects to bring it to life
and modernize it.

2. The shapes in the "Q" will also need to be modified to work for
smaller icon sizes - directly scaling down the logo causes the icon to
almost disappear at small sizes: http://imgur.com/F3IOTE1 . This may
be fixable by increasing the thickness of the circle and exaggerating
the size of the green arrow for the icon, but again, it's going to
require a lot of tweaking.

My final concern is that we haven't seen a version of this logo
without "Quantum" in it yet. It's hard to get a good idea of the final
product when a major change like this still needs to be done.

Again, I realise I'm voicing these concerns late, but I thought I'd
point them out in case it influences anyone's voting!
