Hey Paolo,
It looks OK to me I just haven't had time unfortunately to commit to
reviewing it completely for a merge. The code is at
https://github.com/tecoholic/Quantum-GIS/tree/gsoc13 and
https://github.com/tecoholic/qgis-django/wiki/Symbols.
Sorry I didn't have time to commit fully to this.
