[Qgis-developer] vector rendering improvement patch

Hi all,

I don't if you have noticed but a new contributor has submitted a patch

that seems to improve the vector rendering speed up to 90% ->

I would really appreciate if one of the core devs can review it and
eventually commit it (or suggest modifications), so we can start test
it as this would be a much needed improvement.
