[Qgis-developer] Spatial operators in field calc

Hi all.
In the Field Calculator there are, among the expressions, a series of spatial
operators (touches, intersects, etc.), but I cannot figure out how to use them. They
make sense as operators across layers, but I do not see how to use them within the
same layer.
Any hint?
