Dear list,

We are looking to embark on a project to make rendering in QGIS multi-threaded, boosting rendering performance and reducing drawing times. I’m turning to the list to see if this is something that any of you (or any organisations you know) would be interested in co-funding.

Besides ourselves, the Swiss QGIS User Group has very kindly offered to fund the development. We are looking to raise approximately €20k in total and are looking for minimum donations of €1000 to reduce administrative overhead.

Please contact us if you’d like to help,

Kind regards,

Pete
