Well the idea of the app I have written is to provide a curated, community
edited platform that makes it quick and easy to build a changelog. My
experience with doing it on the blog or in sphinx does not meet those
requirements. For example with my tool you can simply use shutter to grab
an image and drag and drop it onto the changelog entry and it will resize
it etc as needed depending on the report view. It also provides a more
rigorous structure for changelog entries so that the actual changelog comes
out looking neat and visually consistent. I am busy writing an outputer for
the app that will generate a sphinx doc - which I will put into the QGIS
doc tree. When I have time I will deploy it into the qgis.org django app
(my app is written in django too).
