[Qgis-developer] Sample

Hi all.
In several dialog (e.g. in experssions) there is a button to show only 10 values of a
field. I assumed this was a simple and quick way to inspect the kind of data present.
In current master, however, clicking on this for a large table freezes QGIS, so I
interpret this as an attempt to load all of a table.
Is this correct? In case, I think it should be changed.
Should I open a ticket?
