Hi,
I was wondering if there's been any progress with creating a 2.6.1 release to fix the crash-and-data-destroying bug (http://hub.qgis.org/issues/11592)?
There have been a couple threads requesting it (http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-developer/2014-November/035516.html - http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-developer/2014-November/035629.html) - but I've not seen anything indicating this has happened.

If one isn't forthcoming then I'd suggest that the responsible thing to do is put a nice big scary warning up on the download page telling users there's a known issue that may destroy their work if the project trigger's specific conditions.

Cheers,
Jonathan
