[Qgis-developer] Impossible to keep QGIS 2.4 while updating QGIS master (osgeo4W nightly build)

Hi there,

I had this problem when I was running 1.8 and 1.9 out of osgeo.

I think I ended up keeping backup copies of the qgis and qgis-dev bat files and subbing them in when one broke. It's a bit annoying but it worked.

While I was doing this someone (and I think it was Andre, who's already replied) pointed out that it was perfectly possible (and much more stable) to install QGIS stable through the released standalone installer, and continue with qgis-dev through the osgeo installer.
