Dusseldorf (main) airport has no arrivals/departures between 22.00 and 
6.00. Note that Weeze is far away from Dusseldorf, the bus will arive at 
01.00 in Dusseldorf.

Last trains from Dusseldorf to Essen on weekdays are at 01.30 and 01.37, 
with no chance to get further except taxi.

Another bus goes directly to Essen, arrival at 01.05 with a chance to 
get a train to Essen-Steele (but not Essen-Horst) at 01.26.
