[Qgis-developer] HF - ftools issues

Hi Arnaud,

I know that Sourcepole invested a lot of dev-time into improving the
Geoprocessing robustness and speed - also porting some fTools
functionslity to QGIS core and to C++. I believe that this is so far
only in QGIS enterprise (due to API incompatibilities) - not sure if and
how these improvements can make it into QGIS master. Maybe something to
discuss at the HF in Essen.

Marco/Sandro/Pirmin know more about this work and what it includes.
Definitely something you should have a look at before investing too much
time into fTools.
