[Qgis-developer] DB Manager > Versioning

Hi all,
I think the Versioning tool of DB Manager is less known and receives
less attention than it would deserve. More specifically, I think it
could be easily improved by:
* adding an option to add a $user column, and store there the author of
each modification
* currently the commit to the DB fails, because the original ID (which
is not NULLable) is not filled (it must be done by hand, which is not nice).
Anyone willing to fix this? Better opening tickets?
