[Qgis-developer] QGIS Plugin PostGIS

I'm

 GIS student currently I'm in internship period , I'm writing to you for
asking for help if it's possible.
I want to develop a QGIS plugin that fully execute PostGIS vector and
raster queries.
I wonder know if it's possible, and if it's possible can you please let me
know some ressources and examples.
