[Qgis-developer] graph and plots improvements?

I would love to be able to have a linked ipython qtconsole or notebook for
just this sort of use. I have long regretted that the ipython plugin isnt
maintained any more. I have taken a few stabs at trying to update it but
it was beyond my minimal skills.
