[Qgis-developer] QGIS 64-Bit & Databases

Dear QGIS Development Team,

Our Team of software developers at Fugro Consult are currently developing an extension for QGIS. One function of our plugin is to load MS Access Databases into QGIS, both .mdb and .accdb. When working with a 64-bit version of QGIS the MS Access Databases are not regognized. Does it depend on the current ODBC Driver on the system? Is there another reason?
