[Qgis-developer] Measuring tool not closed properly

Hi all,
I noticed that the measuring tool is not closed properly (it leaves the
polygon or line on the canvas) if done through the X (close window)
button, whereas it is when using the Close button.
This is annoying for the users: would you agree this is a (small) bug?
