This will only affect SVG symbols which have been edited to allow
setting the color using parameters. So if someone wants hardcoded
colors which never change, they are unlikely to have gone to the extra
effort to allow customisable colors.

But yes, if they had a tree SVG image which they'd modified to allow
customisable colors and had set the default color to green, then that
green colour would be ignored when switching between different svg
source symbols.
