[Qgis-developer] Processing different behaviour of selection in gdal and saga

Hi all,
if I select one polygon and clip raster with polygon, saga clips only
the selected polygon, whereas gdal clips on the whole vector (not only
the selected item).
This is unexpected, but it is unclear whether it is a Processing problem
or a backend limitation: any hint?
