thanks for this. got the issue: the travel cost parameter gets silently
zeroed if I edit the default 0 value. If I first delete the 0,000000
default value, then enter my param, it works fine. This is a general
issue with Processing, and I believe it's a true bug of Processing (user
inputs should never be discarded without consent).
BTW, what is the meaning of the `lower` polygon?
