The WFS 2.0 joining implementation in GeoServer can certainly use some
love. Some fixes have been
made in the last year, but there is still a significant limitation, the
join has to be a "star" one,
with a central feature type joining with the others, while a list one
cannot be made, e.g.:
* ((T1 join T2) join T3) can always be made (by reshuffling thing so that
T2 is the center)
* ((T1 join T2) join T3) join T4) cannot be implemented without changing
the API down in GeoTools instead, that would be quite a bit of work
(sponsorship welcomed ;-) )
