[Qgis-developer] Announcing planned changes on the developer list

Hi,
I would also think in case someone creates a QEP, that an announcement
of the QEP in the dev mailinglist would help, because not everyone
checks all the repositories every day ...
Anyway - it would be great if devs and customers could inform each other
better about their plans - which wasn't always the case in the past.
Suddenly, a cool new feature appeared in master - but maybe someone else
had a similar idea at the very same time and it would be a waste of time
if people don't know from each others plans.

After a short discussion, the PSC decided not to maintain a list with ongoing projects. Instead, developers should write a QEP for larger changes. For smaller changes, do as in the 'good old days': write a short mail to the developer mailing list to announce your plans.
