[Qgis-developer] Save AS -Geometry - Include Z-dimmension

Hi,

I have lately had trouble with Processing>Clip and the plugin Clip Multiple Layer
It give an error “Input layer has unsupported geometry type -2147483645” – which refer to a z-value. My data doesn´t initially have any z-value.

But after a long research on the process, I have realized that I have savede my dataset using “Save As” to a SHP file there is Geometry>Geometry Type ‘Automatic’ and then (greyed out) ‘Include z-dimension’
I has never been aware of this function – which apparently gives problems using the above functions.

Why is the Include z-dimmension On as default ?

Regards

Emne: [Qgis-developer] Who do I talk about problems with NITF images not using the math model?

Who do I need to talk to about the issue that QGIS displays NITF imagery but it doesn't use the RPC math model to orient the image and display the coordinates?
