Nice! about multi-map-frame environment, I had not special problems with those static classes, but I am sure with Martin's proposal the code will get more clean.

Nice. Glad this is moving forward.Will this facilitate an eventual (not part of your proposal/work) multi-map-frame environment? Alvaro might have good considerations to offer on that front.
