[Qgis-developer] Raster/Projections/Assign Projection should use gdal_edit (not gdalwarp)

As far as I understand, "Raster/Projections/Assign Projection" is meant
to change a wrong projection information in a raster layer, because the
real reprojection is done with Raster/Projections/warp
Nevertheless, "Raster/Projections/Assign Projection" uses gdalwarp, which
would actually reproject the layer. To just edit the projection information
I understand that "Raster/Projections/Assign Projection" should be
using gdal_edit.py

Am I wrong or is this a bug?
