</div>I prefer the files to go into the directory I specify, not a subdir. I<br>
believe the behaviour is that if you specify a file name with .shp<br>
suffix, it will create files in the current dir, if you leave of the<br>
.shp it creates a dir with shapefiles in it. This seems like its already<br>
ideal to me...<br>
