Hi Arpita. <br><br>You should be able to get what you want porting the qgsmaptoolselect.cpp code [1] to python. Then just set the maptool in the canvas: <br><br> self.toolSelect = MapToolSelect( self.canvas )<br> self.canvas.setMapTool( self.toolSelect )<br>
